DecisTech

Clear engagements. Clear scope. Fixed price.

Three ways to work with DecisTech

Start with the path that matches your question.

You do not need to purchase a consultation before starting a larger engagement.

A. One focused decision

The Technology Decision Consultation — €450 · 60 minutes · fixed price. For a specific technology question, decision or independent second opinion where substantial investigation is not required. You receive preparation, a 60-minute consultation with direct recommendations, and a concise written follow-up. It is a standalone service with value even if no further work follows: a useful answer may be to proceed, not to proceed, use what you already have, simplify first, investigate further or defer the decision.

Request a Technology Decision Consultation

B. A decision that needs investigation

Fixed-fee consulting engagements — from €1,500. When DecisTech needs to investigate processes, evidence, options, suppliers, costs, risks or dependencies before reaching a recommendation. The detailed project engagements below — Targeted Assessment & Recommendation, Independent Evaluation of Solutions & Suppliers, Business-Wide AI & Automation Assessment & Recommendations, and AI & Automation Strategic Plan — all sit under this way of working.

C. Decisions that continue over time

Ongoing Technology Decision Support — from €1,000/month. For management teams that want continuing independent judgment as new technology decisions arise. The level of involvement, cadence and boundaries are agreed in advance. It can include reviewing supplier proposals and new tools, challenging proposed investments, reviewing pilots, discussing technology risks, revisiting priorities and supporting management decisions — and it is not unlimited support, not managed implementation and not operational ownership.

The fixed-fee engagements in detail

These are the fixed-fee options when a decision requires investigation. Published prices are starting points — the final fixed fee is confirmed once the scope is agreed.

Targeted Assessment & Recommendation

One defined issue, examined in depth.

Use this engagement when the decision requires investigation before DecisTech can responsibly recommend what to do.

DecisTech investigates a specific process, opportunity, risk, use case, business function or other defined area and gives you a clear recommendation.

Best for

The problem or opportunity itself still needs to be investigated — the core question is:

“What should we do?”

What DecisTech can examine

  • How the current process works
  • Where time or effort is being lost
  • Whether AI or automation is appropriate
  • Existing software capabilities
  • Relevant solution options
  • Cost and complexity
  • Risks and dependencies
  • Practical alternatives

What you receive

A structured assessment of the agreed area, our findings, recommendation, rationale and practical next steps.

From €1,500

Final fixed fee confirmed after scope is agreed.

Discuss a Targeted Assessment

Independent Evaluation of Solutions & Suppliers

Make the decision before you make the commitment.

Use this engagement when the business need is already understood and you are considering technology, supplier, proposal or competing options that must be judged independently.

Best for

The need is clear and the available options must now be evaluated — the core question is:

“Which solution or supplier should we choose — if any?”

What DecisTech can do

  • Clarify the actual requirement
  • Define evaluation criteria
  • Compare realistic options
  • Review supplier proposals
  • Compare quotations
  • Challenge assumptions and claims
  • Identify missing information
  • Assess total-cost considerations
  • Examine data and supplier risks
  • Participate in selected supplier discussions
  • Provide a clear recommendation

What you receive

An independent assessment of the options and a clear recommendation explaining what we believe you should do and why.

From €1,500

Final fixed fee depends on the number of options, depth of evaluation and supplier interaction required.

Discuss a Solution or Supplier Evaluation

Business-Wide AI & Automation Assessment & Recommendations

An independent view across the business.

Use this engagement when you want DecisTech to step back and examine the organization more broadly rather than starting with a single predefined use case.

Best for

Owners and management teams asking:

“Where could AI and automation genuinely help us, what should concern us, and where should we focus?”

What DecisTech examines

  • Recurring administrative work
  • Business processes and handoffs
  • Existing AI use
  • Automation opportunities
  • Use of existing software
  • Information and document workflows
  • Potential AI use cases
  • Supplier or technology dependencies
  • Data and risk considerations
  • Management priorities

What you receive

A business-wide view of the meaningful opportunities, issues and recommendations, including what deserves attention and what does not.

From €3,500

Final fixed fee depends on the breadth and complexity of the business being assessed.

Discuss a Business-Wide Assessment

AI & Automation Strategic Plan

Turn possibilities into priorities and priorities into a plan.

Use this engagement when you already know AI and automation matter but need a coherent answer to:

“What should we actually do next?”

Best for

A business with several opportunities, concerns or initiatives but no clear sequence of action.

What DecisTech does

We bring together the business priorities, opportunities, constraints, dependencies, risks and existing initiatives.

We then determine what should happen now, what should be validated, what needs preparation, what should wait, and what should not consume further attention.

What you receive

A practical AI & Automation Strategic Plan that can include:

  • Priorities
  • Recommended initiatives
  • Sequencing
  • Dependencies
  • Prerequisites
  • Pilot or validation steps
  • Decision points
  • Indicative timing
  • Risks
  • Success criteria
  • A practical 6–12 month roadmap

From €4,500

Final fixed fee depends on the breadth of the strategy, business complexity and level of investigation required.

Something different?

Bespoke Technology Decision Mission

If the decision does not fit one of the standard engagements, DecisTech can define a bespoke fixed-fee mission around the question that needs answering.

The objective, scope, deliverables and price are agreed before work begins, and the mission stays independent of any implementation that may follow.

Tailored fixed-fee proposal

Discuss a Bespoke Mission

Assessment and Strategic Plan: what is the difference?

These two engagements answer different management questions.

Business-Wide Assessment & Recommendations

“What do we see?”

DecisTech examines the business broadly and identifies opportunities, issues, risks and recommendations.

The emphasis is on understanding the current situation and where attention may be warranted.

AI & Automation Strategic Plan

“What should we do, in what order?”

DecisTech determines priorities, sequencing, dependencies and the practical path forward.

The emphasis is on deciding what happens next.

Each can be purchased on its own — neither requires the other.

Where useful, a business can move from an assessment into a strategic plan, but buying one never obligates you to buy the other.

How pricing works

The engagement is standardized. The scope is not.

Two businesses can purchase the same type of engagement while requiring very different levels of investigation.

Breadth

How much of the business, process, supplier landscape or problem needs to be examined?

Depth

Is the objective a high-level management decision or does it require detailed investigation?

Complexity

How many processes, systems, stakeholders, dependencies or risk factors need to be considered?

Research

How much external solution, supplier, market or regulatory investigation is required?

Deliverables

What analysis, recommendation documents, matrices, roadmap or other outputs are required?

Interaction

How many workshops, management discussions, supplier meetings or review cycles are part of the engagement?

We agree the scope first and then quote the engagement as a fixed fee.

You are not charged simply because the agreed work takes us more hours than expected.

If you later ask us to materially expand the agreed scope, we discuss and agree that change before additional work begins.

What the fixed fee covers

You are paying DecisTech for the expert work required to reach a useful conclusion.

Included in a DecisTech consulting engagement

Depending on the agreed scope, that can include:

  • Understanding your business context
  • Discussions with relevant people
  • Investigation and analysis
  • Process or opportunity assessment
  • Relevant research
  • Solution or supplier comparison
  • Challenge of assumptions
  • Risk and dependency assessment
  • Expert judgment
  • Recommendations
  • Agreed consulting artifacts and deliverables
  • Clear next steps

What DecisTech does not implement

DecisTech does not:

  • Develop software
  • Build automations
  • Configure platforms
  • Install systems
  • Provide implementation developers
  • Operate the solution on your behalf

Where implementation is appropriate, we can help you understand what should be implemented, what to look for in a provider, and how to evaluate the options.

The implementation itself remains separate from DecisTech.

That separation matters: our commercial interest is in giving you the right recommendation, not in creating technical work for ourselves.

Built for businesses that need independent technology decision expertise without a dedicated internal function

DecisTech works with small and medium businesses where important AI, automation and technology decisions still sit directly with owners and managers.

You may be a good fit if:

  • You are making technology decisions without a dedicated internal technology function
  • You know there are opportunities but do not know where to start
  • Inefficient work is consuming too much time
  • Employees are already experimenting with AI
  • You are considering software or a supplier proposal
  • You want priorities before spending money
  • You need independent expertise rather than another company trying to sell implementation

DecisTech is a strong fit when

You want someone to investigate, think, challenge, compare and recommend.

DecisTech is not the right fit when

Your primary need is someone to:

  • Write software
  • Configure automations
  • Install systems
  • Provide outsourced IT support
  • Supply a development team
  • Run technical implementation for you

We can help define what should happen and evaluate the people or solutions that may deliver it. We do not become the implementation supplier ourselves.

How an engagement works

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Bring us the question, objective, problem, opportunity, proposal or uncertainty.

You do not need to know which DecisTech engagement fits before you contact us.

  2. 2

    We define the engagement

We determine the most appropriate engagement, scope, deliverables and fee.

For a straightforward Technology Decision Consultation, the engagement is already defined and can be requested directly.

For larger work, you receive a clear scope and fixed-price proposal before committing.

  3. 3

    We investigate and advise

DecisTech carries out the agreed analysis, research, discussions and assessment.

The work depends on the engagement—but the objective is always to reach a clear, evidence-based recommendation.

  4. 4

    You receive a clear recommendation

We explain what we found, what it means for the business, what we recommend, and what should happen next.

The engagement ends with clarity—not simply with completed consulting hours.

You pay for judgment—not for what we can sell you afterwards

Our commercial model is designed to protect the independence of the recommendation.

No software commission

We do not earn more because you choose one software provider instead of another.

No implementation revenue

We do not profit from turning a simple recommendation into a larger development, installation or integration project.

Fixed-fee consulting

For scoped engagements, our job is to answer the agreed question properly—not to keep a technical project or hourly billing stream running.

You pay DecisTech for independent expert judgment, not for what we can sell you afterwards.

Not sure which engagement fits?

You do not need to choose perfectly before contacting us.

Tell us what you are trying to decide, improve, understand or evaluate.

We will help determine whether you need a focused consultation, a fixed-fee engagement or ongoing support — and define the appropriate scope before you commit.
